Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen and Chairman Phil Mendelson support our request for a feasibility study because DCPS has still not provided a plan to fulfill the DME Boundary and Student Assignment Study. Is an expansion at Chisholm the best path forward? Or perhaps a strand program at an existing middle school like Jefferson? How long would each of the options take? How much money will it cost? These are the questions that we want answers to and the best way to get them is by conducting a thorough feasibility study. Watch below for clips from the recent DCPS budget hearing.
